NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY
The Kenwood High School chapter of the National Honor Society, properly named The Turley Oakley Chapter of NHS, is a small group of dedicated students who have excelled academically while making time to volunteer in the school and the community. Our membership is based on Service, Leadership, Scholarship, and Character. Students are eligible to apply for membership during the 2nd semester of their Sophomore year as long as they have been in attendance at KHS for 1 full semester prior to candidate selections. New members must have a minimum of a 3.2 or 90% on a 4.0 grading scale and he/she must not have had any discipline referrals or issues with attendance. The Turley Oakley Chapter of the National Honor Society here at KHS has as a perfect record of members who graduate with Distinguished Honors and Honors recognition. We are proud to call them our own!
