Armed & Unarmed Drill Teams
Dress it Right and cover down, forty inches all around!! That's what Drill Team is all about. The Drill Team, whether it is regulation, exhibition, or unarmed is always looking to improve. Here is a quick break-down of the groups: Heavy Weight Regulation Drill- Made up of either a platoon (12 cadets) or squad (8 cadets). A command sheet is given for each competition in which the team complies with the Field Manual 22-5. They perform strictly at competitions. Heavy Weight Exhibition Drill- Made up of either a platoon (12 cadets) or squad (8 cadets). In exhibition, they are given free reign to do whatever they would like as long as there is marching involved, and it is very precise. They not only perform at competitions, but also at events they are invited to. Unarmed Regulation Drill- Made up of a platoon (12 cadets) that performs a routine of assigned drill maneuvers off a given command sheet. They perform strictly at competitions. Unarmed Exhibition Drill- Made up of a platoon (12 cadets). They are allowed to make up their own routine as long as they include military movements.
