Brenda Payne

My name is Brenda Payne, and I came to Glenellen in 2003 after having retired from a teaching career in Kentucky. I graduated from Austin Peay State University with 45 hours past a Master's Degree. I have taught all elementary grades, but I love second grade very much.

I am married to my husband Butch and we have three children. Two are married and one is a student in college. My daughter is a fourth grade teacher at Glenellen also.

I love singing with the children in my class or playing golf on a bright spring day. I love to teach children to write creatively and to use music in pretty much all areas of life. I also love to "imagine the possibilities" with my children and love to use drama and music in the classroom. I look forward to coming to school everyday and I appreciate all the parental support I find here at Glenellen.
