Barb Fitch |
My name is Barb Fitch. I am originally from east Tennessee, however, I left there many years ago and have lived wherever the Air Force sent us. I have been married to my husband Mike for 26 years and we have one son, David. I received my bachelor of science in Elementary Education from Methodist College in Fayetteville, North Carolina. We moved here in 1996 where I began teaching in the Montgomery County School system. I have been teaching second grade at Glenellen since it opened six years ago. After moving to Clarksville, I completed my masters degree in Elementary Education with a specialty area in Special Education. Later I earned my Educational Specialist degree in Elementary Education with a cognizant in Psychology. I find great joy in teaching and love the challenge of meeting individual needs of children. Children are our greatest resource and teaching them to be good problem solvers and to work cooperatively is, I think, essential in their success throughout life as well as school.
