My name is Chali Joy Roberts and I have been teaching since 1996 in Clarksville-Montgomery County. I graduated May of 1996 with a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Early Childhood Education. I also have a cognate in Linguistics.

I am originally from Washington, Pennsylvania and have been in Clarksville since 1992. This is now where I call home. I am married to my husband David and we have two beautiful children, Gabriella who is five and Cullin who is three. Gabriella will be coming to Glenellen this year for Kindergarten and is very excited!

I love to utilize hands on math activities from Math Their Way and intensive, but fun, whole language and experience learning in reading/language. I have to admit that I have as much fun as my students during the day. What makes me continue on this career path is watching the maturation, progress, and successes of my students. What more could one ask for than to be a part of it! I would like to leave you one very important thought ...While I am the first classroom teacher that your child will come in contact with, you are their first and best teacher. What you model, share, and help foster makes the biggest impact on your child. Cherish being the one that they look up to and please make time for your child every day. Show them why reading is important, talk about silly things, laugh with them even if you feel like crying, and always project that learning and school are IMPORTANT!
