Catalog Computers:

These computers are located on the far right-hand side of the circulation desk

These computers should only be used for looking up items within the NWHS Viking Library
-
All of the student computers also have access to our library's holdings/collection should the two catalog computers be occupied - On the desktops of the student computers are icons featuring a white diamond with a yellow "X" going through it. Students should simply double click on this icon and it will automatically link them to a site in which they can search the NWHS Viking Library's holdings/collection just like on the regular catalog computers
Internet Computers:
-
These machines are for everyone's use so please treat them with care
-
The School Board does not guarantee when these machines will be replaced and if they cannot be repaired from abuse, then everyone has just lost a useful computer station
-
Personal web sites and chat rooms are against school policy and are not permitted - When the library has instances of abuse, each situation is dealt with promptly, with the student(s) in question being written up and losing their library privileges
-
Head phones are not permitted with use of the computers
